Cutie

I love photographing babies and this one is very special because he is my little nephew. He is 7 months old and crawling and even standing like crazy. I caught him in action and the way he crawls is adorable.

Also, he has hair like his dad (my brother) did as a baby and it is wild!

Sleep-over, bird, and various hair styles!

During our vacation in June, my daughter got to have a sleep over with my sister's daughter. They are almost the same age and it was great fun for me to see them together. It makes me a little sad that my daughter won't know what it's like to have a sister, but at least she can have moments like these with her cousin to cherish.

The bird was just too funny, it was outside a restaurant we went to in Hilton Head and when my husband first saw the photo, he didn't think it was real.

The other photos are my daughter geared up for her camp field trip to the local ice rink, her hairstyle from a very cute glamour party and her wearing her new headband from my friends at www.trendytresses.com. It has flipflops on it - too cute!

Walking on the beach and lots more

These girls were so beautiful and how about these outfits - too cute!

I have just started going through the photos from our beach session and I think they will have lots to choose from - this is just a small sample!

I think I'm going to have to post some more tomorrow - I really enjoyed this session.

Vacation photos

The kids and I had a whirlwind vacation week in Hilton Head with my sister and her two little girls. We started our drive the day after school ended and stayed in a hotel before getting to our destination. I thought maybe we would miss the normal DC traffic jam, which we did, but we ended up in a jam in North Carolina. After crawling along route 95 for about 45 min. we saw a truck on the side of the road and the guy was holding up a written sign saying 4 more miles! We took a detour around what we found out later was a traffic accident and wouldn't you know that the same thing happened on the way home, also in North Carolina. This time I heard about it on the radio and once again went around it.

Anyway, we did have a great time and here is just a few from our trip. One is of my daughter on her way across the same monkey bars as my son did over spring break. Also, a photo of the kids running in the water, my niece on the slide, my two kids and the three of us.

And for my friend Anita - this photo with me in it will give you an idea of my hair under humid conditions, but it was much worse the really hot day here at home! For those who like nature photography - check out Anita's photo blog - she is very talented http://anitabower.aminus3.com/

Tomorrow I will post a sneak peak from a beach session in NJ - which was really fun and went very well. I will be doing at least one more this summer and maybe two, so if you are interested - let me know!

Sweet

These sisters are very beautiful and during our session - were so sweet!

I've been wanting to post these for awhile, but have been on vacation and also working hard to get the recital photos done. I still have a few more dances - they will be finished this week!

Also, I'll post a few from our vacation soon, my daughter had her first sleep over and both my kids had lots of fun with their cousins. I had to do a lot of driving as this was a trip without my husband, so I'm still recovering (also because the kids listen better to their dad than me!)
