2 year old cutie

She was adorable and for the most part really liked getting her photo taken. She showed off her boots that she picked out, her name bracelet made by a friend and her dance moves. At one point she wanted a little break and the photo in sepia was taken at that time!

Newborn girl

She is just over a week old and absolutely adorable. Check out her dimples and her little foot sticking out of the blanket! It was fun catching up with her mom and just hanging out watching her and taking her photos.

I am looking to expand my newborn portfolio, so I will offer two free sessions (including an 8x10 print) for newborn photos between now and the end of the year. The baby should be less than 2 weeks old. If you know someone expecting and they are interested, please contact me. I will honor this offer to the two who contact me first.

She ran a race the day before

A very nice family met me recently at one of my favorite spots for a fun session. The kids were adorable and lots of fun to catch in action. The mom had run a race the day before - very impressive!

Restaurant Festival Part 2

Here are a few more. I had to include one with my little dancer as it was her first time dancing the restaurant festival. All the ballet moms will understand how special it is.

Restaurant Festival Part 1

Two posts worth of photos from the restaurant festival. It was an incredible day's worth of dancing, the girls have tons of talent and stamina. I was exhausted just watching them!

I will have the photos up in about two weeks.

Very nice

This was a very nice family! I really liked the dynamic between the children and the two older ones were very sweet with their sparkly younger sister!

Tomorrow I will have a preview from the Restaurant Festival ballet and Wed. will be another family session sneak peak!

Two of my favorite things

So I don't think it is a secret that I love photographing little children and ballerinas of all ages! I got to do both recently and it was a great time - at least for me! The first photo is converted to a vintage tint.

I will have quite a few posts over the next week as a lot is happening, so if you like my blog, check back soon!

They knew what to do

A family session and they all look terrific! The only hitch was trying to get the dog in the photo - she had other ideas.

Grandparent's card - last year and this year

It's become an annual event to take a photo of my parents with their grandchildren. My two are the oldest and the most used to getting their photo taken by me, so it should follow that they would be the easiest. But unfortunately, not quite. My daughter through a little fit about where she was supposed to stand and my son kept looking everywhere but at the camera!
Anyway, they did settle down and we got a few good ones in the end!

Here is last year.

Here is this year along with my new little nephew.

She was in the mood

So school is back in full swing and dance and soccer have started. We're still trying to get used to our new routine, but hopefully we'll settle in soon!

These were from a few weeks ago when my daughter found out she could join a dance class with some more experienced dancers. She was very excited and decided to show off some of her moves!

I missed my son's first soccer game in the pouring rain last weekend, but will get some of him in action soon.

The kids close-up

They each have beautiful eyes!

I hope everyone enjoys their last day of summer. School starts tomorrow and things are getting busy again. My son is starting 3rd grade and my baby girl is starting 1st grade. It will be an adjustment for me not having her with me in the mornings. We are also starting the mad rush of soccer and 2 dance classes this year. Time flies very quickly!
