Nutcracker books

I have finished the Nutcracker books and will have a sample available next week for anyone interested in viewing it. For this year I will only offer the 10x8 book. It is 34 pages and will be $75 plus tax. (shipping and handling is included). I will not offer it for order through my site, you will have to contact me by email or phone to order. Custom pages and other options are available and are the same price as last year (you can view these options on last year's book site).

I will provide custom designed books and they will start at $160 for 20 pages (10x8 book). The larger book is also available for custom orders.

PS - there is a small error with the borders on page 5 - it is fixed in the book software. Also, this year you can pick your cover color! My daughter picked Rose eurohyde for her book.

One more thing - I am taking some time to evaluate my plans for the upcoming year. One thing that I am considering is to drop the general photographing of the Nutcracker and Restaurant festival. For the recital this year, I will take photos only for those who have requested it in advance. Details of this will be coming this spring.

The birthday girl!

She is 7 today - and enjoyed her birthday. First she had breakfast with her dad who gets up early, then we watched tv in bed for a few minutes, we took a few photos of her with her new American Girl doll (thanks to my parents) and we made cookies for her to pass around the office and teachers at school. This was all before school started.

After school she had her brother help her set up a home for her new doll and we took some more photos before she was allowed to open the rest of her presents and have her birthday dinner. She loved all her gifts!

Happy birthday to our 2 friends celebrating today also!

A few things

I'm getting caught up on some personal projects as well as filling some Nutcracker and portrait client orders, including this beautiful collage. The flower abstract is part of a personal project!

I am starting to think about changes for 2009 and will post them as they develop. I will probably institute some price changes on my print prices in the early spring and am going to get canvas samples soon. I will also announce a new promotional item for orders reaching a certain total.

This week I am going to post the new 2008 Nutcracker book on my website at http://www.loriejohnson.com/. I am going to offer only the 8x10 standard book with slight customization options. I will also offer fully customizable books as well and will get the details for the books posted soon.

2 boys and a zebra and the Eagles!

Actually she's not a zebra, but my niece who loves them right now. Here zebra attire is very cute! The boys also contribute in the cuteness department, an unbias opinion of course!
