Pink (again)

So my mother's day gift from my 2 little ones was a portrait session with me. I conducted it like they were clients and it took about an hour and a half from start to finish to get the different photos I wanted. (ballet of my daughter, baseball with my son, lots of them together and several outfit changes!)

I started with my daughter in her new ballet costume, which is the prettiest one she has had. The color was perfect for her and she was in the mood to pose. She was highly motivated because she wanted to as well as a recent client who had some terrific poses.

One of the reasons I wanted to do a session with my kids like I do for clients is that I am soon going to offer session coffee table books. The books are 10x10 and will contain all the best photos from the session over 20 pages. I have 2 sample books with client photos from lots of shoots and one book of the shoot with my 2. I am very excited about this new product as I really love showcasing portraits that capture lots of different looks from my subjects. Also, the books are really beautiful!

I have some other changes coming - so stay tuned!

First Communion

This gorgeous girl had her first communion recently. During our session I realized that she reminded me of an Italian movie star. She was so relaxed and looked terrific!

Mother's day photos are coming soon, along with info on some new products for my portrait clients.

Party Sneak Peek (& Happy Mother's Day)

These are from a recent anniversary party and since my speciality is children's portraits, I thought I'd focus on those for this post. As you can see, the kids were all adorable and had a great time (and were very well behaved)!
Soon I will post part of my mother's day gift and it does involve photos. To all mother's visiting my blog - I hope you had a terrific mother's day!

Workshop - part 2

A few more of the little boy from the workshop. This time he was in motion and showed us some of his tkd moves.

It really was a terrific workshop and I'm still processing all the great info and ideas from Audrey and the other talented photographers.

Workshop

I recently attended the best workshop run by the fabulous Audrey Woulard. It was a great weekend, lots of talented photographers!

We had the chance to photograph some child models and here are a few of the first model and one of my own little model. (She was quite intrigued by the little boy model - for good reason as he is very cute!)

The baby sleeping

Here are a few of the baby sleeping. If you look closely, you can see one eye slightly open. Even after his mom closed it, he would crack it back open! I think he didn't want to miss a thing!
