Sunday's football game

After the restaurant festival, I had an hour to relax before heading out to photograph this game. The team played very well! The only downside was the amount of bugs! It didn't even occur to me to take along some bug spray!

Restaurant festival 2009

This year the dance program was shorter and started earlier, but it was still terrific! I had a dream that it rained and the performance was cancelled, but actually the weather was great.

Football - game 1

I survived a crazy weekend with 2 parties, photographing 2 football games, getting my daughter to dance rehearsal and the restaurant festival to perform with her dance studio, took photos at the performance and finished uploading the soccer photos from last weekend. At least it was all fun!

Here is a sample from the first game. It was an exciting end with the team winning in overtime.

Tomorrow I will post a preview from the dance performance and on Wed. I'll post some from the second game on Sunday afternoon.

My portrait session calendar is filling up, but I still have some availability for fall photos. I am also getting holiday card orders. I custom-design photo cards and have various printing options from 5x7 photo cards to press printed cards.

I still haven't decided what I'm doing for my card, but I'm sure my husband and kids will be very excited (or at least cooperate for about 5 minutes)!

They had a great season last year - I hope this one is even better!

Soccer - JV

Since it was a night match, the JV team played first, so I am posting a preview of their game first.

School starts - part 2

School started on Monday and I persuaded the kids to let me take just a few photos. They are both satisfied with their classes and teachers, but were especially happy to have 2 days off already!

New school year - part 1

The start of a new school year is a great time for new portraits! I took my 2 children out for a walk last week to take some new ones of them. They cooperated, got annoyed, fought and laughed; all within the first 10 minutes of our outing! They did have the reward of a trip to McDonald's to keep them going and here is a sample of our efforts!
