Recital - part 1

Here is the first round of favorites from this past weekend, more to come later today!

The girls are incredible and it is a pleasure to see them progress and grow.

In the meantime, I just had to post this photo of a girl taken from the 2006 recital (she is wearing the light teal and pink) and her little sister from this past weekend wearing the white and dark teal. Check out how much they look alike!

Fun

I was feeling a bit blah, until I started this session. It was a fun and just what I needed to pick me up.

The sister was a natural model and so relaxed. Her brother did great too!

We had to endure one of the hottest mornings this year, a dog that interrupted our session and a good intentioned man giving me photography advice.

JV Lacrosse

Not many words tonight as I am immersed in Lost.

LAX

This post isn't about the airport in LA, or the upcoming 'Lost' finale which I am greatly anticipating, but the girls lacrosse games that I photographed last week.

I've said many times how impressed I am with these young girls. They seem so poised and confident and they can really play lacrosse!

I had a little scare when I got home from the games and realized I was missing one of my memory cards. My kids and I went back to the field (and by then it was drizzling out). We walked around twice and thank God I spotted the card just as we were heading back to my car. I was so happy that the images were ok. Whew, what a day!

These are from the varsity game. Tomorrow I will post from the JV and will have the galleries ready by the end of the week or maybe a little sooner.

A few more from Sunday

Here are a few more jphotos from the first communion party. Also, the older sister was dressed up and pretty on Sunday and when I saw her at the lacrosse game on Monday - she was all speed and power. Check out one of her goals.

Beauty

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful girl right after her first communion! She was so sweet and has a wonderful smile. I was very impressed to find out that her mom styled her hair!

I'll post some of her with her family later (and her sister playing lacrosse), but wanted to feature her in this post.
