Hilton Head portraits - part 1

In addition to having a great vacation in Hilton Head, I had the opportunity to do a few mini sessions as well. The beach is always fun, but does pose some challenges as well. One big challenge was to keep the attention of the little ones. Of course as soon as we finished the family shots, they ran into the ocean!

The last photo shows what we faced better than I can put into words. The second to last is my 9 year old taking charge of the posing.

Dance Recital

The last month has flown by! My children finished school, we've been to the local pool numerous times, we had a week-long vacation, my daughter had her dance recital, I photographed dance portraits at 2 studios and I photographed a dance recital. Also, my parents came for a visit and we celebrated 3 family birthdays!

The recital was really well done and the dancers were all terrific!

First Communion and Beautiful Family

The weather was not very cooperative for our session, but the girls were wonderful - full of smiles and personality!

I always enjoy meeting new families and this is the second time in a row with a cute dog.

At the Park

I met this family at a beautiful park, which they picked for our session. They were lots of fun to photograph and I really liked their style! I also enjoyed meeting their cute dog and of course my daughter now wants one just like it.

Wedding

They were very blessed to have their wedding on the first sunny day in over a week, after days of almost non-stop rain!

It was lots of fun for me to photograph their intimate ceremony and enjoy the beautiful spot on the lake!

And these are some photos of Greta doing her cheer/dance routine in her recital costume. She was showing off her moves and I was trying out my new camera. So far, it is great!
