Newborn boy

It is so much fun to photograph babies and hang out with new parents. This little guy is just over a week old and was so cute! He fought going to sleep, but finally settled in for a little while.

Kiss A Pig

My client is in the running to kiss a pig as part of an incredible fundraiser for the American Diabetes Organization. She was featured in the Celebrate Arkansas Magazine and has been raising lots of money for this worthy cause!

I was honored to take her photos and quite thrilled to see one of them in the magazine!

Future Razorback

Their extended family are Razorback fans and perhaps the young boy will be too! He liked the family Razorback blanket and also the pig statue in the park!

They are such a nice family and I had a great time hanging out with them.

I'm still here!

January and February so far have been very busy! I am working on fulfilling Nutcracker orders, getting caught up on everything I didn't get done during the busy season, donating sessions for fundraisers and getting ready for an upcoming awesome photo shoot.

I will be photographing the dancers of the 'Wizard of Oz' production in Northwest Arkansas. I will be doing the posed portraits as well as photos of the kids in action during the performances.

I did some test shots of my daughter in her costume and the girl playing Dorothy. The costumes are gorgeous and I can't wait to see all the kids in theirs!

Nutcracker 2011 - Post 1

It was very nostalgic for me to have the opportunity to phtotograph this year's Nutcracker performance by The Chester Co. Ballet company and Harrison's Studios. I had done so for several years before we moved and missed it last year. It was amazing to see how the girls had matured and how beautiful their dancing is. I have picked just a few from the performances and will post more this week.
